Europe CEO Awards — Frequently Asked Questions
The Europe CEO Awards are the European chapter of the World CEO Awards — a global, merit-based recognition program honoring outstanding chief executives, founders, presidents and managing directors across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the wider continent. Winners are determined by independent jury evaluation, never public voting.
Leaders from every European market are welcome, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Nordics, Benelux, the DACH region, Central and Eastern Europe and Southern Europe. Each nominee is assessed on equal, merit-based terms regardless of country or company size.
CEOs, founders, presidents, managing directors, chairpersons, group CEOs, country heads, Mittelstand owners, family-business leaders, women CEOs and young CEOs from any European industry are eligible. Both self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted.
Through an independent, jury-led, merit-based evaluation. There is no public voting. An expert panel assesses each nominee on leadership excellence, strategic vision, innovation, governance, sustainability, financial performance and measurable market impact.
The 2026 gala ceremony takes place on Saturday 14 November 2026 at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Dubai, UAE. Honorees are warmly invited to attend in person, though recognition stands on its own merit for those unable to travel.
