The Family Business CEO Awards are a dedicated track within the World CEO Awards honoring chief executives who lead multi-generational family enterprises with excellence in stewardship, governance, growth, succession and long-term value creation. Recognition is merit-based and jury-evaluated, never bought.
Founder-CEOs, second and later-generation chief executives, family group CEOs, managing directors of family holdings, chairpersons, and non-family professional CEOs leading family-owned enterprises from any industry or region worldwide are eligible to be nominated.
Winners are chosen through an independent, jury-led, merit-based evaluation. There is no public voting. An expert panel assesses leadership excellence, governance, succession planning, intergenerational stewardship, business performance and lasting impact.
Family enterprise leaders can be recognized in flagship categories including CEO of the Year, Visionary CEO, Transformational Leadership, Lifetime Achievement, Emerging CEO and Sustainability Leadership, all assessed against family-business-relevant criteria.
