The New Zealand CEO Awards are the local track of the global World CEO Awards — a merit-based program honoring outstanding chief executives, founders, managing directors and corporate leaders across New Zealand for excellence in leadership, innovation, sustainability and business growth. Leaders from every sector are welcome, with strong representation from agritech and primary industries, tourism and hospitality, technology and SaaS, clean energy and sustainability, screen and creative, finance, construction and professional services across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton and the regions.
CEOs, founders, managing directors, chairpersons, group CEOs, country heads, co-operative leaders, women CEOs, young CEOs and senior corporate leaders based in New Zealand or leading New Zealand operations are all eligible — whether they run a start-up, a family business, a co-operative or a listed company.
Winners are selected through an independent, jury-led, merit-based evaluation. There is no public voting. An expert panel assesses leadership excellence, strategic vision, innovation, business growth, governance, sustainability and market impact on the evidence presented.
